APC 8 and 9 Degree Patch Cord

APC stands for Angle-polished Physical Contact (8 degrees angle ferrule cut) for very high return loss (>65dB) and represents one of the best ways of polishing for fibre ferrules, assuring a return attenuation greater than 50dB for single mode connections. We also offer 9 degree angled ferrule cut and can denote this with an alternative boot colour (see image).
